On 11-19-10 at approx. 5:58 AM Companies 18,20,19 & EMS 55 were alerted for a structure fire on Buskirk Hollow Rd. in Midland Co.18's 1st. due. Eng.182 arrived and found a well involved structure and the working alarm was transmitted with the fire located on Elk Lick Rd. Eng.-Rescue 20 arrived and laid approx. 800' of 5" supply line and supplied Eng.182. Eng.182 pulled two 1-3/4 lines with command having ET-19's crew pull one 2-1/2 to the rear of the structure. Eng.171 arrived and pulled a second 2-1/2 to the front of the building, all attack line were pulled from Eng.182. The structure was reported to be unoccupied at the time of the fire. All operations were exterior from the start of operation. Companies on scene were: 18,20,19,17,16,14 & 22. Companies on stand-by were 2,36 & 24. Chief 18 had the Elk Lick Rd. Command, units were out approx. 4-1/2 hours. The MD SFMO is investigating the fire.
