@macmostvideo Wow that's great never knew about the bottom right corner window... i was wondering how to do that. Thanks soooo much, super informative =)))

Thanks a lot, it's working ... I continue to wonder though how to invoke that with a spacebar, as this Cmd+Opt+Y is not easy to press ...
I found that Opt+Space bar does the same, but requires Esc to exit it ... unfortunately

You can drag the bottom right corner of the window to stretch it to close to full screen. Or, install a third-party program like Saft to cover even more. But Safari doesn't have a native full-screen mode. Also look into using Fluid (see episode 299)

Hi, when I select photos in iphoto and go to 'view', 'full screen', it does not make the selected photos only full screen as it did in your video, but instead it makes all the photos on that screen in to full screen mode. How do I correct this?
Thanks.

@rkmalhotra100 Perhaps you are viewing photos from a different list in iPhoto. Try it with Albums selected on the left, and select the Album you want. Then select some photos.

@nintendo82 I've never used "ableton live" -- it seems the problem lies with that software. Do they have any support? I'd ask them.

Hi, Is there is a way to open preview in a full screen directly after pressing
a space bar? ... I mean without intermediate state, in which it leaves a lot
of space around ...
I installed snow leopard and was pleased to see how preview is working
in finder ... the only problem with it is that it is not going
to a full screen by default which I would prefer on my
MacbookPro 15'' screen ...
Thank you in advance ...

I think what you are talking about is Quick Look, not Preview. Preview is a viewer application with a lot of functionality. Quick Look is what you get when you press the spacebar with a file selected -- it is a very simple viewer. See episode 347 for more on Quick Look.
To answer your question: Instead of Spacebar, try Command+Option+Y.
