The 4th and 5th pattern kill me. Looks like the pattern's harder in BWR Plus.

I did the last pattern only taking 1 hit there.

3rd pattern is about the same difficulty due to the slowdown, but the main thing is that you can't use your shot to estimate ship position when looking backwards (because the shot doesn't fire backwards)

Thus you lose track of the bullets next to you easily when tracking everything else.

This is normal behavior for the game. To do damage, bullets have to hit him in the area covered by the orange dot that appears when he uses his homing charge shot (check the last fourth of the video, it appears often there).

Also, he has a small amount of invincibility time after he bombs or after he autobombs after getting hit (that option is on, fyi).

This is normal for the game.  If it weren't, the boss would be unbeatable.

Finally, learn to spell 'why' and use question marks.

TOO MANY BULLETS MOVING TOO FAST! And the fact that the bullets are hard to see against the bright moving background doesn't help much either!
