http://go.petsecure.com/pets Just as you pick your dog or cat's breed to suit your situation and lifestyle, people look for different things from their pet insurance protection. The type of coverage you choose should depend on many considerations, such as your priorities, your pet and your budget. That's why Petsecure offers a wide range and several types of coverage to choose from.

Our Secure for Life plan delivers exactly as promised. Once you're insured, any new illness or injury will be covered throughout the life of your pet, regardless of the animal's age or how long the condition lasts. Secure for Life is your guarantee as long as you renew your policy each year without any lapse in coverage.

One of the features that sets our Secure for Life coverage apart is that the benefits are per condition, not combined. So with Secure 2 (our second level of coverage), for example, you get $2,500 for each illness or condition and $2,500 for any accident that might occur in a year. And those benefits refresh each year. That means if your pet develops an ongoing or chronic condition such as diabetes or arthritis, you can continue to recover up to 80% of their veterinary fees year after year.

With any Secure for Life plan, there's also no limit to the amount you can claim over your pet's lifetime. Some of our members have received more than $30,000 in claims for a variety of treatments like hip replacements or cancer.

Petset is our value-priced coverage. This provides you with a set amount of accident and illness or accident-only coverage. Once your pet is insured, they receive up to $2,000 of coverage per accident and with Petset Accident & Illness you get $500 for all conditions combined each year.

One more thing to keep in mind is whether or not your pet is an indoor or outdoor pet, more than 75% of our claims come from illness so you may want to consider this in choosing your coverage.
