I'll make a video within the next few days and post it. I have different crates modified for different activities.

@emtguzman - thanks for viewing and commenting! it is a Loon 160T from Old Town Kayak and Canoe (16' tandem) it's a nice cross between kayak and canoe - works well. I'll find some others and post - thanks

you can get better solid crate at dcrates dot com that is where I get mine. I had the same one you have but it did not last long. Hope this helps

@alexey419 good feedback , thanks. I like to open sided crates so they don't fill with water. Do you put drain holes in the side/bottom to help?

Crate looks good. For a floor, rather than plywood which will soak up water and delaminate, I'd use some polyethylene plastic (buy at lumber supply or hardware store), or buy a kitchen cutting board (plastic) at Walmart. Will last forever. Happy Yaking.

@sergeantsailorman that's a great idea. maybe even that corrugated plastic they use for real estate signs, rigid, but not very heavy - Thanks!

I use a soda crate with pipe bolted in the corners and tuck it under the bungie cords. On and off easier when not fishing
