  • May be loose, but there is some serious speed & power going on there for his size

  • yes because his arm is loose, you have the same potential, size doesn't matter so much.

  • Im not sure that in all strikes in combinations he was loose.

  • no systema students are not allowed to punch tense, all those strikes are loose, they just don't seem that way because of how quick he is throwing them.

  • why couldnt he throw like that in tuf lol

  • Those combinations are really incredible when delivered with Val's ballistic strike methodology! I mean, I watched those same combinations from many different fighters and none of them are that fast, accurate and powerful with so much penetration feeling even on the pads. My eyes nearly popped out watching those combinations and you really need to be a long term martial arts practitioner to appreciate the difference, otherwise, they will look pretty much the same to you. Impressed!

  • So... relaxed punching? How good would it work on a boxing match?

  • Mcsweeneys a prick

  • @YaarZePirate true, anyone who really practices systema knows that this guy is just swinging his arms around

  • Fantastic punching. Not very waveform-ey, but credit where it's due those were great punches nevertheless. It must be difficult adapting once you're used to less relaxed ways of doing things.

  • This guy is a FUCKING BEAST!

  • thai boxing and muay thai is the same thing

  • damn man more hardcore than those shaolin mnoks no doubt

  • @YaarZePirate You know nothing about systema lol...so sad

  • Hi Val, looks great, but I don't like his habit of dropping his hands after he strikes and steps back.
