alpinestars smx 5 review

quick review of my new smx 5 alpinestars boots i got from sportbike track gear for 219....i had 2 days of riding on them and im still kinda getting used to them...one thing i didnt mention is when you first get them...the rubber on the bottom is kinda slippery so be careful on the pegs...ummm....other than that i love em...they get a lot of attention....when people talk to me they stare at my boots....i like them a lot...

Love the boots man. I'm thinking of picking up a gently used black pair from the WERA boards for like $90. How do you think they have held up, strong enough?

BTW, I love white gear too. Everyone said the same thing when I bought a white A* mesh jacket, white gloves, and white DC street boots. lol

@CBRboy1717 i didnt go down in these boots but as far as comfort and sex apeal i love them...they take a while to get used to because you cant really feel the clutch and the back brake but as far as giving your ankles extra support and making the leather suit more comfortable its def worth getting...like i said the boots kinda help take some of the leather suits weight off your body...

Went down with these on at the track a few days back. Id be using crutches or awhile since my left ankle got really busted.
