If we read all of the chapters concerning Tire & Sidon, we will find that what was not to be found again was a mighty & glorious Tire one with many daughter cities all over. As in asking:
Where is the mighty & glorious Tire?
Answer: there is not Tire glorious & mighty anymore.
None the less, next I'll attempt to give a possible theory about this prophecy.
As you read you may ask : why destroy Thira & not Tire?
Answer: it is thought that there is a possibility that the Labyrinth temple of the minotaur was located in Thira, that is why it hasn't been found, I argue that Tyrians built their main temple on that Island where they kept the live minotaur, their God-king, the object of their affection, so that temple was taken down as a means to take away their pride, similar to what we read in Ezekiel 24:21
"I am about to desecrate my sanctuary—the stronghold in which you take pride, the delight of your eyes, the object of your affection."
Notice the profuse use of purple the TRADEMARK of the Phoenicians
