I wasn't offended, you are the one who got all in a huff and began cursing. what I am saying is by taking Rooney's words out of context it was disrespectful to the man's memory and then in response to your comments I also noted that people in general have become insensitive to things which , at one time, would have shocked the normal person. But we are going in circles here.......

@TomFromJersey ...if his family saw it, then probably yes....I have been watching re-runs of grey's anatomy and basically my feeling is that people have simply lost perspective on what causes pain. i watched the one with the train wreck and because the two people had the pole thru their chests, the operation where they re attached the man's foot seemed routine and even became a source for humour. hewitt devotes his heart and soul to 60 minutes and then, by editing, it is implied he did nothing

@TomFromJersey your comment reminds me of people who submit videos of gymnastic competitions where people fall and almost kill themselves and then they write in the title: "hilarious video". what bothers me here is that they can indeed do the show without Don Hewitt, so it is a little too close to the truth.....
