MV Spirit of Vancouver Island

A Tour of BC Ferries' Spirit of Vancouver Island, Built in Victoria BC in 1994. She is the 2nd and Last Spirit Class Ferry after the Spirit of British Columbia with which she is tied as the Largest Vessel in the BC Ferries Fleet. Since she began her service life, she has ran as the #1 Vessel out of Swartz Bay on the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay Route. She has kept this title for many years, but recently she has given up her #1 status during the off-season to the Coastal Celebration and has ran as the #3 Vessel on the Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen Route at Peak Times. She still however maintains her #1 Status during the busy Summer months.
