This is a story of a Deaf woman that I met the other day at work. This is the story. Also, it is in sign language and English, just to make it all that better ^__^
The lady also told me to go back to school and learn ASL. I think I might have to do that. It is a fun language
@GrapeFlavoredRomance (cont) When she discovered why I was so upset, she told me that she loved music. she loved to feel the rhythms and see people sing and feel their voices. She said that she wasn't missing out on anything, but in fact enjoyed music more than most hearing people because she could enjoy it with more of her senses. Really put things into perspective for me.

I cried when I watched this.
Beautiful.
I had a really similar experience when I was a YCL.
music was a HUGE part of my life at the time, and one of the girls I was over was deaf. We got very close during camp since I knew quite a bit of Sign Language.
We sang about twenty times a day during camp and at one point I started feeling really sorry for her since she couldn't hear nor sing. I was overwhelmed by how unfair it was.
