They need to take that P42 off, if there's one steam loco that don't need no assistance from a diesel it's the 4449...c'mon. Nice shots though! That living legend always seems to put on one hell of an amazing show! 10/5*!

Hi!!!
I'm not a USA citizen. I'm from Chile (South America) and I want to know about some statisticals: How many miles of railroad tracks are electrified in USA? versus How many miles are diesel/steam services?
Here, in Chile, we almost don't have trains. Just a "Metro" train service, around 150 kilometers long and three or four first class services a day around 400 kilometers long, all electric type. It's a pity!!!
Thanks a lot for your time!!!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Excellent shots!
Really seems to capture the romance of American passenger trains up to the end of steam.

Be there or be square!
Great shots of a really fantastic train!! I especially like the last one... beautiful scenery with the trees and mountains and train coming through the curve-- was that one in Washington?? Awesome video!! Thanks for doing this for those of us that can't be there.

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. The sound was awesome in the still air. Great sun angles too at that time of day. FYI scene 2 is not the main hwy (Hwy 14) along the gorge. Its more of a neighborhood connector road. Scene 2 is around MP17-18 in Vancouver, WA, scene 3 is around MP49-50 (near Bonneville Dam)
