Cant believe the Americans would convince Diefenbaker to destroy the the plane. then what happend later on is that the Americans made a an aircraft like the black bird and the f- 18 that almost look like the arrow and took all the credit from us Canadians. UNGRATEFUL!
Although the maple leaf within the roundel is correct (the style used by the RCAF from 1946-1965), the circular border on the replica appears to be too fat. I have several photos of aircraft 203 (as well as the other four), and they all have the slightly narrower border.
A beautiful replica, none-the-less. Hat's off to you guys.
Afraid not, the roundels are the correct version for this aircraft, check your stats again. As one of the builders of the replica, the only error made was in the weapons bay. We got actual photo's that have never even been published before.
A friend told me someone is building a flying replica - and I'm not talking scale model - of the Arrow. Have you heard anything about that? (If they can build Me 262s in Washington state, well, who knows?)

I believe A380sebester has a point.

I wish we can still make one that flies. That would bring back the spirit needed to make us propel further then the Americans again.
