I find this series a little strange, mainly because it is a dating sim/harem type with Arawn as the lead male and the various girls as his harem, but instead of concentrating on the relationship with them, it seems to be more concerned with the friendship between Arawn and Arthur/Pwyll

Well, there wasn't any dating sim aspects in the game to begin with, and the game was actually focused around Arthur and Arawn.

It is still a fantastic series though, definitely a great successor to Utawarerumono, I usually do love Leaf stuff, To Heart and Comic Party were also very good, though not as good as TtoT or Utawarerumono.
