My second cover of Dream Theater's "The Count of Tuscany". I played along to a backing track with John Petrucci's guitar removed that I found at www.guitarbackingtrack.com. For this video I used a Jackson DKMG, Line 6 Pod X3 Live, Zoom HD16, Behringer FBQ 3102 EQ. I created the tones myself but used the zoom hd16 for the effects. Thanks for watching!!

I do not own any rights to this song.

  • 100% perfect. What do you play for the chords at the beginning? The way I play it is very awkward. I know you probably don't, but just in case, do you have tabs or did you use tabs? Any advice on playing the song would be great.

  • @darkmist255 First off.... Thank you!! I actually bought the Tab Book for this album however I found tabs that has the intro the same way I play it...(the rest is close, a few minor differences)...I cant post the link here but I will message you with it...

  • Awesome..I just got X3 live :)

  • nice!

  • For what are you using the pod ?

  • Awesome cover dude!

  • @scarred2112 Wow, thanks!....couldnt have said it better myself!! You nailed it. In no way is people covering songs hurting the music industry. This is how I discovered most of the bands I like now. You'd think they'd want the extra exposure. Its so frustrating.

  • @93collins Absolute crap - what you're doing CLEARLY falls under "Fair Use" laws as commentary & criticism (debating the TAB Book version vs. other fingering methods) and research & teaching. And a huge "Boo-urns" to YouTube for going along with the Corporations in blocking/removing material because they know if they don't, they'll either have to pay to defend against a huge lawsuit or lose a great deal of material uploaded (aka Biting The Hand That Feeds Them). Great job with your cover, BTW!

  • nice cover bro !!! can you send me the this lead patch please ?
