Alone in the Dark isn't as bad as IGN/X-Play reviews gave it...frankly those reviews are insults to the gaming community.

yea amen to the people who are true gamers for liking this game. I actually like it cause of the realistic factors and multipe possibiltys like using sprays + lighter = mini-flamethrower. and hot wiring and looking through the car's glove box, its just plain cool. I'm playing it right now and i haven't stopped yet lol.

Buying this game was the biggest mistake of my life!!! The gameplay is slow!! the controls SUCK BADLY!!!! you cant play, the story line is toooo admnn sloww!!! and the graphics are OK except for the shadows, they're awesome! I would give this game 4! except for the girl, she was sexy

8.5 for this game???? hahaha better to stop reviewing games. This is one of the worst games ever produced and all the bad reviews are absolutely justified. Any other opinion is a denying of reality.

Actually, you can kill other creatures with your pistol, like spiders, bats and even the boss in the museum. But hey, Carnby isn't Rambo!
For first review, it's great.
