I saw this show in Dubuque Iowa and some of them came with me to sing at the rainbow lounge at the canfield hotel and it was a blast. wish they would come back soon!!
You forgot one of the Greatest Drifters of all time....Johnny Moore who did leads on most songs from 1963 and on. There are a bunch of his vids here, some with Ben E King in his group, another great Drifters voice.
Great group, great music and great times, am blessed to have been there.....thank you, and what a privilege for you to have played bass for them at this time...........
I miss Bill Pinckney and Clyde McPhatter also, but lets not forget Rudy Lewis, the original lead on this song.Rudy sang lead on many of the Drifters hits.He has also passed, many years ago.
