I sang that song for Pentecost. I read it from Liber Usualis and it's called veni creatur spiritus. I think it was page 880 but I don't have the book right now.
When sung correctly it is one of the most moving works of music ever written. This is a great example of how music is its own language and trandsends the spoken word. Not many people understand the Latin but it still move them to tears!
"Come Holy Spirit" What a great wish, desire, hunger and thirst!
It is intoned at 1st & Perpetual Religious Professions, since it a deepening of one's Baptismal Promises. Also for Ordinations-priestly or Episcopal. In religious houses it is also intoned before elections & chapters for the Holy Spirit's Light..I hope i was of some help ;)
It is the Veni Creator Spiritus in English rendered
Come Holy Spirit Creator Blest
And in our hearts take up Thy rest
come with Thy Grace and Heavenly aid
To fill the hearts Thou hast made..and so on. You probably heard it in some form this past Sunday as it was Pentecost. The English is easy to find in a good missal..
it is " veni creator spiritus" COME CREATOR SPIRIT, sung at al lclothing and profession ceremonies. It is truly, THESONG OF THE CHURCH!!!

The part at the beginning with The Little Flower taking her vows behind the cloister grille is beautiful! St. Therese looks absolutely stunning!
