For the 11th outing, two more bosses from the wonderful menagerie of Aeons of Death go head to head.
The Dark Shambler is a modification of the beloved Shambler enemy from iD Software's "Quake." He sports an impressive 12,000 hitpoints, so he's not going to go down easily. A total beast up close (he performs up-down slashes at a frenetic pace), he is more than capable at a range. He will charge up a huge burst of lightning, which will deal immense damage. Also, when stunned, he releases more bolts of lightning. When killed, he drops a lightning gun.
Death hails from Raven Software's "Hexen 2" game. He's a rider on a mission; to kill you aplenty. He has a reason to feel bold, for he has a massive 14,000 hitpoints. Fast, and in some cases unreasonably powerful, he has two main attacks. His first method of performing his duty as the bringer of death comes in the form of a series of energy bolts that rise up to the sky, and rain down on his target to deal incredible damage. Another attack involves firing directly at the enemy the cause an impressive display of energy that also deals an implausible amount of pain. Lastly, he consistently shoots several fireballs as well. When he dies, he drops the Hand of Death, which is a class 10 weapon with immense power.
You may be surprised who turns out to be the victor.
Perhaps 3 DS vs 1 Death would be better. Death is made to outpower most of the bosses in aeod.

I did that before this one, and the shamblers made quick work of Death (they deal immense damage, after all).
Heh, killing Death. Who would have thought?
