Do you mean Area when you said City?? Hong Kong is a city. Hong Kong is Not a country.
You might have been already, but if you haven't.
I rencon you should stay in * Central (the city Centre of Hong Kong, presumably u wanna see the city life, not he country side). I'd say Central is the most convenient part of town.
OR * Tsim Sha Tsui (very touristy)
OR * Causeway Bay's great (a VERY BUSY shopping area).
