@wardka I don't think is that. Yesmusic takes a few listenings to be absorbed or let's say registered in our brains. It's not a conventional music (don't know about this album, thou) It has happened even with material from their earlier works, I mean "Tales From." wasn't an instant darling for fans. Back then they had all the time in the world to listen to their now "classics" for hours during years This "later classics are just getting their own personality and taste to enter to our memories

@imhamish I've see him live. He's not that good. At the show that I assisted in the NYC area, it was embarrassing when he couldn't reach a high note in Heart Of The Sunrise.
The band is still good, I'll give them that.

Sem a voz de Jon Anderson , essa obra é risível.
Falta a alma ao grupo , perdeu a essencia.
YES SONGS ainda é e sempre será o ápice musical desses genios.

Good on em - all the lineups have had merit. Saw em live in Sydney 2003 - I have NEVER seen a band with a standing ovation after EVERY song. I am so looking forward to Xmas ;)

yes goes beyond any egos, even if every guy in there is a personnage. Yes is simplyt the best. I just found out about the album, and all this week I started liostening again to Relayer after maybe 5 years of not doing it. ;)

The sad thing about these latter day versions of great prog acts, is that if they've EVER done something remotely commercial, no one seems to give them a chance any more. I've only just gotten this album, so I'm not that familiar with it, but I've always thought if we had heard "Mind Drive" for instance in 1974, we would have been completely blown away. It's that good. But you just don't hear it talked about in the same way as the classics. Anyway, I'm ready to dig me some new Yes!
Trevor Horn is amazing, and so is this new Yes album. While not my all time fave, it sure ranks up there. There seem to be tons of rabid jon anderson fans out there and thats fine, to each their own. I frankly don't like the songs he has written (of Yes) that much, and I think his solo work is nonsensical but to each their own. Just really great seeing Yes come out with new tunes!
