From LaFace Records to Entrepreneur, the R&B sensation Aaron Deponce is making his presence felt in the music industry with his sultry voice and high energy-packed performances. Deponce is a gifted, innovative, and influential music figure who started singing at the age of 12 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At 16 his singing talents soon became obvious to industry heavy hitters Darryl Simmons, Kenneth "Baby Face "Edmonds, and Antonio "L.A. "Reid. In 1992 they quickly signed him to Laface Records as a member of the R&B group "A FEW GOOD MEN".
The LaFace quartet was poised to make a huge impact in 1995 with their Tony Rich, Dallas Austin ready-produced debut release "Take a Dip", but due to front office reconstruction at the record label their project didn't receive the necessary support it needed.
In 1999 Deponce signed to an Independent Recording label Imperium Records in Miami, Florida and became a household name with his debut album "From My Window" which spawned the hits "Just The Way You Are" and "Tight-Tight". After a successful solo debut, Deponce decided to take his career in his own hands and create NEW MERGE, INC. Helmed by himself and childhood friend President, Earl White. The labels first release in 2006 "Devotion" debuted on the billboard charts and on the Heat seeker charts for prospective stars.
At the end of 2007, the power of internet sales using networks such as FACEBOOK & MYSPACE gave Deponce an outlet to connect with distribution companies in other countries. His music began to reach audiences as far as ASIA, EUROPE and AFRICA. While in Atlanta, Ga. working on other recording artist signed to Usher Raymond's manager J.PAT, he gained the attention of Terrence "T.low" Brown & Robert "RL "Huggar, members of the Multi Platinum R&B Trio "NEXT". With the third member Raphael " Tweety " Brown no longer a part of the group, Deponce was given the opportunity to fill that void. But even though touring and eventually recording with "NEXT", he's never stop perfecting his craft as a solo artist. His self-titled solo project "DEPONCE" is set to release in spring of 2011.
His resume of career achievements not only includes singing, songwriting, and production, but also his extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing and promotions. This wide variety of talents and gifts has enabled DePonce to possess the unique talent of reinventing himself and staying relevant in today's music industry.
