  • Sootch the 40 call at my local guns shop only says smith and Wesson on the grips. No literature on the slide, or frame except some numbers on the frame. I have owned a lot of Smith and Wesson pistols and never seen one like that.

  • I just purchased a 5906. Great vid.

  • I watched this video because a friend of mine wants to sell me his, great video thank you, very informative.

  • i love my 5906. perfect. nice video. only one mistake that i can find...you should ALWAYS probe the chamber with your finger to insure it is truely unloaded.

  • I like my 469 better, I like the combat sights on mine, sweet shooting gun will digest any ammunition I can feed it.

  • Is the firing-pin removable?

  • I picked up a 39-2 a few weeks ago and I took it to the range and its a fantastic shooter, trigger was crisp, accuracy was as good as anything I own and its old school which I always prefer ...and it was under 400 bucks....Compared my my ole M&P,id take one of these at the range anyday,a little heavy for CCW or IWB - 5906s are all over the web cheap ,I may have to pick one up to add to the heard.......Thanks Sootch

  • I have owned this gun for several years now, only shot if a few times, but carry it fully loaded all the time, travels with me, where ever I go.

Till this video, I have not been able to get the weapon apart to clean and lub it.

Thanks so much, I could not get the pin out till tonight, Just did not push in it hard enough.

Now I can take care of it properly

  • I'm missing the right safety lever. Does anyone know if parts for these pistols are available?
