FF5 Boss Series - SUPER BOSS: Divine Dragon, Shinryuu

I...I can't believe it. After all these years, I FINALLY beat Shinryuu. Words cannot express how overjoyed I am to FINALLY KILL THIS THING. Words cannot express how overjoyed I am to finally grasp FF5's Ragnarok (if you know me as well as my friends do, you understand why that's a big deal). And, as if all that wasn't good enough....this battle was the toughest and most intense of the entire series so far.

I have accomplished everything I set out to do and more.

There's a much easier way.

Use the Chemist's Combine ability to use Bacchus Wine (inflicts Berserk guaranteed) and Dark Sigh (inflicts Darkness 100%) of the time. Toss on Golem for good measure. Berserk will pump up his physical attack, but prevent him from using his other nasty moves, and Darkness will reduce his accuracy. Golem is there to save you when he does land a blow, but put it right back up when he does, as he'll break it with one shot.

hey messiah, how's this strategy, i use osmose blade, and rapid fire.

1 physical attack + osmose blade= 1/2 mp loss for enemy

rapid fire= 4 physical attacks

4 physical attacks x 2 weapons x 1/2 mp loss per attack = 15/16 mp loss.

NOTE: the equation for this proscess has been forgotten, but i assure you the facts are either exact, or highly accurate.

please tell me what you think of the strategy.

im planing this for the later bosses because they basically need mp to attack.

It has merit, but I'm not 100% sure if Osmose blade works on later bosses. Certainly worth checking out though.

I managed to kill him in 2 rounds by using 2 mimics and 2 normal chars.

Butz: Using BravBlade full+Excalibur/ X-Fight/ EnchantWeapon

Lenna: Time Mage + White Magic + X-Magic

Faris: Black Magic + Invoker + X-Magic

Cara: X-Fight with 2 weapons (she done nothing haha)

I cast flare on Butz swords, with Lenna rapid2+quick, then 4x Meteo, Faris 2x Flare, Cara done 8k damage with xfight, then Butz finished the job by dealing over 4k damage on each hit of X-Fight

All chars at lv 48

...For being a hyper-strong SUPER BOSS, Shinryu has a really boring death animation.... The exact same thing NORMAL enemies do....
