  • Bert broke his jaw,he had to.That boy was a balloon.

  • @LVSWTZ Some people, especially tyson bashers, dismiss tysons first and far ,the best tenure,86-88,because of his losses to DOuglas and holyfield. But even Cus Damato said tysons biggest assett can become his biggest downfall, his lack of being elusive. His focus to become conditioned for 15 rounds(at that time in champion fights) and be the most elusive since ali.And he accomplished it but once he abandoned the most important asset, his elusiveness,it showed in his decline after 88.

  • @thewelshviper YOu have to remember when someone fought the constant training,12 hrs a day.7 days a week tyson ,who also fought every 3 months, the frequency in his active schedule of title defenses has never been done from a champ since CLay 65-67,guys with the likes of cooper and Mercer, good fighters but CLass B. Classic tyson was too conditionind, able to take their shots and too skillfull for these guys to have had a prayer against a classic tyson.

  • @fadethetrade i never thought mercer would beat tyson but i dont think it would be easy but if i had to pick how tyson would win i would say a 11 rounds to 1 decision with a chance of a knockdown or two from tyson

  • @LVSWTZ Broke down when the other guy fought back AND HIT HIM,you forgot to add those last 3 words. 86-88 TYsons great skill was because he slipped the opponents trying to hit him back .That was part of his technique taught to him by Damato and followed religiously by Atlas and Rooney.Once he had the edge in defense practiced year after year,it discombobulated the opponents because tyson then became the ali speed counterpuncher off of their misses.Tyson would slip mercers shots.

  • @thewelshviper Of course,in his classic period,he went the distance a few times but styles make fights and Mercer would be a sitting duck for the classic tysons short 6 inch shots that crippled everyone who felt it.Mercer would be too smart after feeling the short hooks and grab tyson and fight the same survival fight of Bonecrusher smith but tyson 87-88 had the stamina and chin and conditioning to go 12 and not be hurt vs Mercer unlike Morrison.TYson in 2 or 3 or 11 rounds to 1 decision.pick em

  • @fadethetrade you do know tyson didnt ko everyone he faced right?

  • Guys, you fight a fight like this & it takes something out of each fighter. I think Cooper walked away with more damage.Mercer may have looked worse.Cooper has been in other tough fights as well. 4 Cooper to lose in his next fight against Riddick Bowe, tko in 2. I was very surprised. It don't think it indicated that RB was superior to RM. Skill wise RB better, but RM was tougher and took a better punch. If RM and RBwould have met, b4 they were champs.I think we would have cn a great fight.

  • please upload more ray mercer fights if you can.. he's great!

  • @LVSWTZ TYson of 86-88 was better then tyson of 89-91,tyson of 89-91 was better then tyson of 96-02.How good was tyson 86-88? 8 title defenses tying frazier but tyson did it before his 22nd birthday.History making. At 21,he would have had a chance against the top 2 of all time.
