Your ridge interpretation would forbid you calling an earthly parent father. Yet God Himself, in the commandments, terms one of your parents father, and tells you to honor him as such. Your text means simply, “call no one your father as if you had no other father with rights over you.” That is, you must realize that all paternity is of God, and you owe your being, and all that you have, including your earthly father, to Him.

As a clergyman of the Orthodox Church I would feel far more comfortable in a reverent Latin Mass versus what I consider a quasi protestant influenced novus ordo mass. The eastern rites of the Church can identify with the Latin mass. While we are varied, we are also vast and by far outnumber the protestants. It is time the Latin rite bring its mass into conformity with the rest of the Catholic Church.

It is very nice to see Bishop Richard Williamson celebrate Mass with such dignity and piety and all to perform exactly the Ritual as it should be! Immaculately dressed and clean and the hair cut as it should be.I like the use of the Organ also together wih the Gregorian Chant.And the Choir sings with perfect harmony also.

Latin is very beautiful.

I taught myself Church Latin and I understand all, including the TE DEUM!

We have glorified that first Eucharist with the Traditional Catholic Latin Mass, which encompasses all that the Catholic Church teaches and believes.

However, if you are of a Novus Ordo mind-set, go to McDonalds and get a cookie.

This is the way it should be, this is why i converted to Catholicism to begin with and then I see things like Mass on a plastic table and no chasubles, cassocks and surplices for altar servers are being replaced by albs no kneeling for altar servers and even in some churches no one kneels! its a sacreligious abomination! I hope Benedict XVI really brings some major changes into the once Conservative Catholic Church now Liberal Catholic Church, it needs to move back to its conservative roots!!!!!

Everybody knows. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and Antonio de Castro Meyer ordained Bishops without a papal mandate out of necessity, which is legal to do so. Unless you have you head up in the clouds the Church was and IS in a state of emergency, can’t you see that? This coming October 2011 B16 is going to violate the First Commandant by going to Assisi. This pope has turned out to be akin to a liberal politican than a pope of the Catholic Church.
