MMO Economy Interview with Eyjolfur Gudmundsson Part 1

Eyjolfur Gudmundsson is the Lead Economist for EVE Online at CCP.
In Part 1 of this interview for GameDev.Net, he is asked about EVE Online's economy and the role of an economist in a game company.

His responsibilities in EVE Online are to provide community members with accurate information on economic indicators as well as in-depth analysis of interesting events in the EVE Online economy. He is also responsible for cooperation with academic and research institutes and in assisting future development of the economic/business environment within EVE Online.
