This is one of the two versions I made of Bach Allemande in e-minor. I made one in Miami Beach New Years Day with the camera's built-in microphone. On that video I am playing a Ricardo Sanchis Carpio, (Valencia 1975) There is no added reverb.

This one I made in Copenhagen in February 2008. I wanted to play it on my own guitar (Philippe Jean-Mairet) and with my good microphones.

  • Hi there my friend. I am very happy if I can inspire you and your brother to play more. Yes, I am a professor in Classical guitar in Copenhagen. Who knows, maybe some day we will play together.

    Keep playing (and listening).

  • Two questions? Do you work out your on fingerings? How long does it take you to memorize a piece like this? Your playing is remarkable...much like Julian Bream is a cut above the know professionals, you are a cut above the men and women posting you YOUtube. Enjoy your playing!

  • Hi. Thanks for listening to me. Yes, i always do my own fingerings and often arrangements too. You can find them on my web shop for ordering and download.

I worked on this since I studied at the Royal Academy of Music so I have known this a long time. Julian Bream is my idol so I am happy you mention him.

    Kind regards,

  • Superb! Like going back in time - I put classic fm on the radio when my kids are in the car so they get exposed to this type music. Good trick as they cant get away! They actually like it. Anyway marvellous playing will be visiting many more times.

  • Fabulous, I'm inspired to try harder on the guitar.

  • Could you please play the sarabande (996) :D?

  • Listening to your playing is a pleasure.

  • Beautiful, but that bark at the end was alarming, as I have a dog and I jump every time she barks unexpectedly.

  • Incredible playing, a great inspiration. Do you play professionally for any guitar company and will you be at NAMM 2012?

What about sheet music to these pieces as well, your versions?

  • Incredible playing, a great inspiration. Do you play professioanlly for any guitar company and will you be at NAMM 2012?

  • You depress me. I have a classical guitar exam in a little under 2 years and this piece is on the list. I really hope I'll be able to play it with at least 50% of your skill!

Your perfect performance is simply breathtaking!

  • A GOD!!! A GOD!!!

  • Merci pour cette merveilleuse musique :P

  • Just great, thanx.
