  • I'm British and have used the NHS all my life. So have my family and friends. It's great.

If you don't want it in America, fine, but don't make up lies about us.

In the UK, if you want root canal work done by a private rather than NHS dentist it will cost on average £350. The idea that flying to India is cheaper is nonsense.

  • Agreed with rebelvodka.

Absolutely no way on the planet that a flight to india, accommodation, transport to and from each airport AND the treatment was cheaper than it was England.

  • Sometimes you have to wait for less important conditions to be treated its a system known as triage. The most important things are treated first.

  • 93% of the UK loves the NHS and we have more Americans going to the UK and Canada than those people leaving those countrys.

Mark Levin you are dumb as shit.

  • Most private dentists start their root canal charges at around £360 per tooth. NHS cost Band 2 course of treatment – £47.00 This covers everything listed in Band 1 plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.. Maximum cost of any dental work using NHS £240. Economy fight to India from London approx. £530 (one way) the lady is talking nonsense.

  • Fucking lying fucking bald fucking lying cunt!

  • I agree. There are no problems getting access to a dentist in the UK. This is a compete and utter lie. Dentistry coverage with the NHS can be patchy but there are private dentists everywhere! If you need root canal treatment done you can get it done pretty much without any waiting. The NHS has no monopoly on jealth care in the UK.

  • Ha Ha this is a pack of lies

  • another fabricated story about health care in England. Its easy to get a dentist to treat you but of course it costs, as rebelVoDKa below says. Most treatment in the UK health service is free. Dentistry is not free and about half the dentists choose to work private rather than NHS. So faster treatment comes if pay full price. But its not cheaper to fly to India!!!! A crazy notion that makes this story false.

  • another question. how do you know it was under the nhs, she could have been with bupa (a private health-care insurance company) for a start and last time i was at an nhs dentist i was waiting fro 5 minutes and last time i was at a hospital i was waiting for 10

  • Sorry Levin you high pitch redneck. But Japan is a UHC success story. Also Singapore.

  • Lies lies lies lies lies lies lies.
