In my opinion, Psycho was released at the RIGHT TIME! In my opinion, audiences worldwide were NOT PREPARED for (someone like) Norman Bates/Mother!

@mrstalkingcat147 Any video store should have it. Amazon should have it too but get the black and white one not the 1998 one. It sucked. You want the one from 1960.

In my opinion, even though I've seen monster/horror movies such the original Dracula, the Wolfman, and the Mummy, these movies, as well as the monster/horror films that came BEFORE them, "pale in comparison" to Hitchcock's Psycho. In fact, I find the pre-Psycho horror films quite "boring." In my opinion, WITHOUT Psycho, I WOULDN'T be horror fan TODAY. In my opinion, it's THEE GREATEST HORROR/"SLASHER" film of ALL TIME-and my PERSONAL FAVORITE HORROR/"SLASHER film of ALL TIME.
