@ Nuru305 - I gained about 2 inches per month of new growth while using Monistat.  However, I have decided that hair is just not that important to me that I would jeopardize my well-being for it.

By the way... I began using cayenne pepper for hair growth today. I should make a video for that or lure people away from the use of Monistat and towards other natural forms of "scalp stimulation."

@ Nuru305 - Any chemical that you put on or in your body will have a negative effect on your body as you are contaminating it with unnatural toxins. It's even worse that we are using this one much longer than is recommended and in areas that it's uncalled for. This treatment is supposed to only be used for 7 days, yet we use it for months and some to even years. There is nothing safe about introducing that amount of toxins into your bloodstream and on top of your head. It's worse than relaxing.

Hi niqniq76. It works, but it is not safe and comes with side effects. My suggestion would be to use oils and natural ingredients, such as cayenne pepper to stimulate hair growth.

I just want to say that I work for kaiser Permanente . I had a conversation with a pharmacist yesturday. she said it is no risk in using this product. She also said that woman should not use this product too long because thebody might not respond when they really need it . using the product for a month is okay . using the product once a week or twice a week is not going to hurt you. People need to know doctors use monistat for skin , hair and vagina problems. Bottom line use it right !

ahahahahaha this is funny! people will get all excited and scared to use mn that is reccommended for even babies use in their mouth.yes thats miconazole nitrate 2% gel for babies mouth ulcers.but they will run off and put the equivalent to double strength draino on their heads AND THINK THATS OK.lol please stop putting unnecessary fear in people.if this so called dangerous product is used in babies mouths,then i doubt it is as dangerous as youre making it out to be.IT IS FINE TO USE.

Women should not use this no longer than a month at any giving time. Their is no after effects or dangers associate with using this product. The product is used for more than yeast treatment for the vagina.

What are the chances of something applied to the scalp reaching the brain? which is covered by the skull and you have the blood brain barrier that prevents molecules from penetrating the brain? People need to start thinking!
