I was around during the fleetwood days. Stevie Nicks is a unique singer in her own right, but Catpower cat power's it up and sounds completely different in her own catpower style. I likes.

beautiful versions of the same song are beautiful.
-
amazing voice love your version of this song
-
@hideouss okay. whatever you want. your loss though

I love both versions of the song and love both of the performers (fleetwood mac, cat power, and patti smith are my top favorite music artists that i have seen live and i have seen a lot). I think she did it justice and the more i listen to Chan's version the more i love it...(i am starting to think it is superior to the Fleetwood Mac classic i have loved for 15 years...I much prefer Chan's cover of a Fleetwood Mac song than the dixie chicks or smashing pumpkins.

hating. the original is so funky
-
nothing and N O B O D Y beats Stevie & Company`s original.....PERIOD!!
-
why do people go around disliking stuff?

@theboxgobbler I normally really like her unique spin on certain songs, but the fact that you admit that it sounds like the song "Stevie wrote and sang drunk" proves a point, but not a good one. This cover sounds EXACTLY like a drunken night at a karaoke bar. I can almost picture her taking random sips of her drink and leaning sideways off of a stool while singing to an audience of 3.
I don't know what you all are hearing, but I've listened to many many Cat Power covers, and this is by far one of the most beautiful. Raw, heartfelt, emotional, unique..I could go on. For any true fan of Chan or anyone for that matter, I'd love to hear a valid argument as to why this is not wonderful.
