@Jigov Thanks for replying. I had thought NO MORE SHADOWS could be referring to a spiritual hope for eternity with our Creator, God. There appears to be so little info re Erroll Garner's personal life. Can't find much anywhere. He certainly knew the keyboard and could look over his audience, at his fellow musicians, and not miss a beat or note and hum, smile ,make appropriate facial

movements enjoying music. Thanks for posting NO MORE SHADOWS.

sometimes people just put names without any reason, and even you try to think what is the connection between the music and the title, only he knows it... maybe when he wrote the music it was early in the morning and.... it was about to go to sleep (around 5.30 am ) and he was like... wel... "no more shadows" .... you know i will put the name of this .. hehe sometimes dont try to seek it, just accept it :)

What a beautiful tune is NO MORE SHADOWS and I understand that Erroll Garner

wrote the music. Question: Are there words to this composition and is there any story as to what Erroll meant

by its title: NO MORE SHADOWS, Am curious as to what may have prompted him to give it this title. It is not easy to learn much about him. He is, to me, the best jazz pianist ever and was blessed with the gift of musical expression and interpretation. Thanks for posting NO MORE SHADOWS !
