Why does that surprise you? He did say "sorry" so that should make-up for his behavior. But then again, we all do stuff and I think he got carried away wanting to share his experience.
By the way, the stand-up is also a sit-down (depending on what your business is) and this sit-down is more natural than western toilets because it builds the perfect pressure on your gut to push out waste. It would be interesting to compare incidences of diseases with types of toilet use.
