Great Grandpa Advice

Johnnie McHenry Miles
88 years old (born 1921), 23 years Air Force and another 15 years Forest Service, all as a Cook. Born and raised in Texas, went into the Military at age 18. Spent time in Alaska, Persia (when it was still called that), Canada, Spain, briefly in Arkansas and now California. Oldest of six children. Was married to his wife Josephine Neal Miles from 1945 until she died in the late 1990s. They had two children, Herbert and Patrick. Herb is featured in the video with his wife Eleanor and their oldest son Elias (my husband). Incidentally, three generations of Miles' have been married on December 27th--Johnnie & Josephine (1945), Herb & Eleanor (1976), and Elias & Joy (2007). (Just figured out every 31 years!) Johnnie is the product of much interracial mixing (Cherokee, Chinese, Black and White), as is his great granddaughter Madeline, featured in the video.
