Esfahan (Prelude omitted) and Postlude is a piece written for ZRP and performed at the QUeensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane on Aug 7 2009. It combines "music concrete"(Ipod- from FInale audio file) with improvised Persian Classical music soloists and pointillist improvisation from other players in the Prelude. The main piece is in 5/8time and is comprised of Persian, Classical, Jazz and Flamenco practices entwined within the composition.
