Mrs. Alice Shnorhokian (born on August 28th, 1912), the wife of Rev. Manasseh Shnorhokian tells her story of how she and her family saw the Genocide, and how her family was forced to leave her homeland in Aintab, Turkey to the desert.
"We were dislocated not to hotels and motels, we were dislocated to DIE."
"I forgive them. I don't have hate, because we are all God's children."
"We have to talk about the past to remind that this holocaust or genocide shouldn't be done, to prevent. We have to remember so that it will not be repeated."
These are moving words from a survivor of the
Armenian Genocide. As the descendants of survivors, it is our duty to hear them and ensure genocides stop!
