Selah Sings Before the Throne of God
Before the throne of God above,
I have a strong, a perfect plea,
A great High Priest whose name is "Love,"
He ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is writen on His heart;
I know that while in heav'n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart.
No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair,
and tells me of the guilt within,
upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end to all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died,
my sinful soul is counted free;
For God, the Just, is satisfied
to look on him and pardon me.
to look on him and pardon me.

Behold him there! the risen Lamb,
my perfect, spotless Righteousness,
the great unchangeable I AM,
the King of glory and of grace!
One with Himself I cannot die,
My soul is purchased by His blood;
My life is hid with Christ on high,
with Christ, my Savior and my God
with Christ, my Savior and my God

  • i love it, beautiful images, i cant wait until we be able to sit on the lap of our GOD and king, when we will look JESUS in the face and see pure love, how i long for that type of love, but no matter how much earthly love i get it dont seem to be enough, i dont know if im being selfish, or difficult or if i just want the type of love that only JESUS can give. this video makes me deeply want the love of GOD even more, and im determined to get it. i will serve him. for he is worthy

  • Beloved, let us be known for our love, for when we love, God trusts us with the delicate role of bringing truth to a very broken and hurting world. Jesus says, "Are you ready to love not just with your words? yes ? then in time, I will trust you with bringing light to the darkness. For all the paths of the Lord are love, kindness and truth. Our God is feared because of His mercy! Praise God, for we all have messed up

  • Amen and Amen.

    Well, who said they were ALL going to heaven? I'm sorry if you've heard that at all the funerals you go to, but the Bible does NOT teach that everyone goes to heaven. In fact, Christ spends much of His ministry teaching about hell. And it's not simply reserved for those who murder, and commit adultery, He said it was for even liars, and idolaters. So, again, I'm sorry if you've been taught that all men will go to heaven, but I want to clarify that the Bible does NOT teach that, at all

  • @RyouNtheFaith - Maybe true, may be not. Interesting though how even at the funerals of even the worst of criminals they all going to heaven. So what is right and what is wrong? Who sets that?

  • @Bondidog ...So, if you dismiss creation and conscious without really thinking about its origin then yes, the Christian case is dismissed. But when you look into what the Bible claims about it, and look at it with no bias, which is difficult, it becomes to make sense. Why is it that even criminals, who have been sheltered from society all their lives KNOW that stealing and lying isn't right? Where does that conscious come from? Because the animals we "evolved" from do not possess such a thing...

  • @Bondidog I have heard of circular reasoning. In fact, quite familiar with it. I certainly understand your need for more, I think I felt the same way before, too. The problem I generally see with unbelievers is that they eliminate the evidence given to them by Christians: either because we explain it poorly, or what have you... but the thing is this: where DID the creation come from? Evolution doesn't work, because evolution is not reproducible: and that is the test of science.

  • @RyouNtheFaith - Ever heard of circular reasoning? Goes like this - 'I believe the Bible because it is the word of God and I believe it is the word of God because the Bible tells me so.' Hmmm. Personaly, I'd need a lot more than that.

  • @Bondidog

    The Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please God. Now, if God showed you everything would it be faith? Better yet, if God created us with free will (as He did), and then openly revealed Himself to us in all His glory, would we then be following Him based on the faith of or free will? Or would we do simply because we see Him? Even cynics drive the speed limit when the cops are right behind them...

    @tallliza

    The problem with Pascal's wager is that by what the Bible states is true your "decision" to follow God's law won't gain you anything. For Romans states that "by no works of the law shall any man be justified". You seek evidence; however have you wondered where the earth you live in came from? Your concept of Good and Evil? You knowledge of common "etiquette" ie: you know it's wrong to steal and lie. These are Biblical principals. The evidence for the Bible is strong. Look.

  • @tallliza Interesting comment. As for Pascals` wager, I thank you for the reference. I'd never heard of it before but a quick Google change that. Just might have to buy Pascal's work (if it is still available) and read a bit more. What I've seen so far is very interesting - at least the logic behind it is.
