@Gabbos It just so happens I own one! It's called an 'Ally' canoe, made by the Bergans company of Norway. Can't recommend it enough- very glad I got one. As for the other Lars Monsen series, I can't seem to rip the DVD to my editing software. Must be some sort of protection on them :( Thanks for watching!

@ChudFapper Haha, nice question! I think he keeps in contact with his girlfriend, who occasionally meets him at remote road crossings and supplies him with stuff.

These are so awesome! my husband found these, and I really enjoy watching them. We did a small trip in a kayak a few weeks ago and I already miss it. Ive never done anything like that, and I think I adapted pretty well. Seeing Lars hit the heads of the fish would really disturb me before, and now after going on a small trip, I just think "MMM! feast for dinner!" :D

@0poi0 Would something like a PVR work? maybe you could run it and record the dvd onto that then split it up and laod it in sections

@ChudFapper I know that in one of his expeditions (I think that he mentions the two years in Canada) he actually uses solar cells on his tent, and they were enough to run his cameras. He mentions this in his book, Villmarksboka.
