brave guy being there altho his dad's a scientologist

I was there and I choked up when I heard this.
Just keep loving your Dad. Give him a space to talk about Scientology without judgment (don't avoid the conversation), ask lots and lots of open ended questions. Let him stumble over the internal contradictions himself.

Good job, friend. Hope your dad's left the cult by now. His gf, too. Excellent that you spoke up. btw, Tommy Gorman is now in the SF Bay Area and he sometimes protests with the SF Anons and often goes to the org on his own! He is an AWESOME protestor... using the skills he learned from Jeff Quiros himself while working for OSA. And it really gets under the cult's skin every time we mention Jennifer or Tommy Gorman. Talk about a PR Flap. Anyway, excellent work, Anon!!

This shit needs more views, seriously.
No, really.

COOL STORY BRO!

I was revising myself because I believe somebody shed light on the fact that this anon had changed the motto to suit his message, and not copied it verbatim. We anons better believe, and completely fear for the life of the anti-C$n cause, that videos like this will almost instantly be labeled as whiny college crap by any outsider. For every movement that succeeds tons of them just get labeled, stamped for shunning, and effectively shutdown. I hope it doesn't happen this time.

I'll never look that way even if I try. I'm 66 yrs old :)

I'm sorry you totally lost me. I was replying to AnonNation. I said my viewpoint was free speech. I never said he didn't have the right to question because it would be idiocy. He asked the Q & I can't really stop him. I did say it's all free speech; yours included. And mine, as well. I'm talking about free speech. $cn is against free speech. But again, I don't know what problem you have with what I said. Please explain, if you like. :)

Nobody's talking about free speech either for or against. Hanson was free speech.
I have been a member. It is GLOBAL = all around the world; encompassing many countries around the planet. And it is SINISTER: Def. = Evil, seeming to be evil. [from Wiktionary] So Mister, why the question mark? $cn is a GLOBALLY SINISTER organization. WhyAreTheyDead
"Over the top," def.: Excessive; exaggerated; outrageous. Not excessive, exaggerated nor outrageous [unless you're speaking of the church] Otherwise, it is JUST RIGHT; VERY ACCURATE; QUITE CORRECT!

Why the question mark? Is there something wrong with asking a question to peak the interest of people who are less familiar with the situation, even if the answer is much more obvious to people like you and me?

globally sinister? this is just a little too far over the top for me. cardboard, plastic voice. whiny. this guy needs to calm down. I can't believe he actually says the slogan at the end. this was shit.

Yes, "globally sinister." As in "Scientology is a malicious business that operates around the world." Too over the top for you? Too bad because it's the truth; either except it or crawl back underneath whatever rock you came from.

I know it is true and totally agree with his opinion. I just think he sounds like a whiner in this video. Hint: DO NOT SAY OBVIOUS, CHEESY, AND OVERUSED MOTTOS OR SLOGANS IN WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPEECH ABOUT PERSONAL TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS. i USED TO LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO cLEARWATER ANED i KNOW EXACTLY HWO SICK THESE PEOPLE ARE. rIGHT NOW i AM STUDYNG PSYCHOLOGY AND THIS VIDEO ( watch?v=Qczg0vfAL3g ) CRACKED ME WAY UP.

Overused mottos? He put his own spin on it specifically for this speech so that it would be more fitting . . . or did you not watch the whole video?
