Michael Savage Files Lawsuit Against Dept. of Homeland Security Demanding Names on List

Michael Savage has filed a federal lawsuit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The lawsuit claims that her Departments Rightwing Extremism Policy, as reflected in the recently publicized Intelligence Assessment, Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment, violates the civil liberties of combat veterans as well as American citizens by targeting them for disfavored treatment on account of the political beliefs.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of nationally syndicated conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage, Gregg Cunningham (President of the pro-life organization Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, Inc (CBR)), and Iraqi War Marine veteran Kevin Murray.

The Law Center claims that Napolitanos Department (DHS) has violated the First and Fifth Amendment Constitutional rights of these three plaintiffs by attempting to chill their free speech, expressive association, and equal protection rights.

The lawsuit further claims that the Department of Homeland Security encourages law enforcement officers throughout the nation to target and report citizens to federal officials as suspicious rightwing extremists and potential terrorists because of their political beliefs.

@mikegeremia - I too have lived in places where Michael Savage has inexplicably gone off the air or the particular radio station that he airs on suddenly goes static at the exact time when he airs. Government censorship is alive and well in this, the United States of America, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

This has nothing to do with right versus left. This has to do with transnational corporatists versus those they intend to enslave. The "right versus left" nonsense is nothing more than media hype designed to pit one group of citizens against another. This is so that the people who identify as "right" or "left" don't realize they have the same concerns and work together toward a common goal. Divide and conquer is the age old tactic. Why? Michael---sure wish I could get you on the radio in Brevard, N.C. You used to be on the Asheville (east San Francisco) radio station---Mt. radio, but they took you off. They took Rush off our local radio station as this community if full of left-over hippies and neo-Marxists....
