Crazy isn't it? Just think how similar and yet how different the Internet of today is from the Internet of yesterday. It's hard to believe the Internet was started by the US military in the 60's...amazing.

I subscribed to compuserve for a short period of time in the mid 80's. I didn't really use it much because local BBS's were free or cheaper. The BBS's used to advertise in the back of local computer magazines.

but, i've never seen this commercial until now. i would have been floored in '87 if i'd found out things like that were possible. for about five minutes, then gone back to playing with my transformers and gi joes.
