North Shore Innovations Dyno Day Hosted by Enhanced Street Performance - Sterling MA Jetta Coupe with 2.0L ABA bottom end. Megasquirt, cams, etc... 105whp/115wtq
Well what block you trying to put it on?? If you do a head swap on the ABA block it will work but, if you keep the aba pistons the compression is to low and needs to be turboed. If you want decent runing compression. Then you need ABF 16v pistons and ABA rods. If you want all motor compression then get ABF rods and Pistons.
yea you would. i hear so much people espcially around here just talking so much stuff about 8v. if they see that hahaha i dont know what they would really say.
you know if that was a full 16v like he didnt swap the head or anything , because thats what i was planning on doing. thinking it should fit right up but i gotta see.
Lol alot of work beileve me. Huge turbo and crazy tuning on standalone. I think its so worth it though. It gives you a ton of bragging rights. Having an extremly fast 8v, which is what i want. And i would do a 16v engine if i was you. When turbo'd they can be just as fast or faster then built VR6's and 1.8T's. Theres a dude somewhere on youtube, he has 1,400WHP on a 16v turbo. It was AWD so it lost some numbers. And it spun on the dyno. So that thing prob has like 1800whp lol
oh i see. i would think the other way around. put the 8v in save money while ill build the vr6 .
but now im actually thinking about building a 16v is where im probably going to end up doing. i found a good deal for engine and trans.so im really thinking about just doing that.
thats serious for an 8v 400-500 hp .i cant even imagine what they had to do lol
Well because any other motor i see it as an easy way out to getting power. My friend has 402whp on this little 8v. And theres a guy with 550whp. They can be made very fast if you put in the time and effort. Though i might toss in a VR6 for now. And build the 8v for another car. Not sure yet, i have some thinking to do.
what wheeles ar ?????/15" o 14"?????

Ok so then do ABF pistons and ABA rods. Or ABF everything. Or wait till you want to turbo it and just keep the ABA internals.
