Yeah. I remember seeing a really large engine that had such low RPM it looked as if you could outrun the pistons.. or make a home in one!

Remarkably quiet. I've been in the engine compartment of a 5000BHp diesel locomotive and you need hearing protection and have to use rudimentary sign language :P

thats because it's a slow-running engine, maximum of about 500 RPM, that makes it a lot quiter!

sure this is a 545? looks more like a 428!
(valve rockers look smaller as 545 rocker!

yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a 545, atleast, that's what I've been told anyway. I didn't make the movie myself, so i can't be totally sure!

i'm qite sertain itts a 428, i've got the same engine (only a 6 cilinder ) in my tug, a 545 looks the same only its a factor 2 bigger! the rockers look like a 428!, doesnt matter , its a nice engine tho! 428 or 545, who care's , its a Deutz!!!
