"Yeh Yeh" is a Latin soul song. It was written and first released by Mongo Santamaria on his 1963 (see 1963 in music) album Watermelon Man. Lyrics were written for the instrumental shortly thereafter by Jon Hendricks of the vocal group Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. This version of the song was taken to the top of the U.K. charts in January 1965 by Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, breaking The Beatles' long-term hold on the number one spot.
Other notable covers include that by pop/rock duo They Might Be Giants on their 2001 (see 2001 in music) Mink Car album. Matt Bianco have also covered this song.

I love this song so much I taught it to my cockatiel....he never did get it quite right (he always blended in a bit of the Andy Griffith theme), but it was a laugh riot anyway.

@TheExposeTube if you have never seen the person singing ,as the person who asked about his race clearly has not , then it doesn't matter because they obviously liked it anyway So yeah i can take a white reggae band seriously. Good is good no matter the color..... is all I'm saying...thank you
