@w4wtoronto Unfortunatly it is true about ABI, but we do not know the situation what kept him there, so no judgement sb made in any way. Paxten was cruel beyond belief, Dustin is not his only victim, and we do not know what held him there until he was unable to escape on his own. Paxten may have threatened to harm or kill his family members, even his young daughter, did you think of that? As difficult as it is to imagine, it is incredibly amazing how positive Dustin is today!Good for him!

This story makes me sick... I cannot fathom how a person could inflict such suffering on another human being. I hope that disgusting psychopath is put behind bars for life (and hopefully ends up in a deliciously ironic situation).

Anyone remember who Hedda Nussbaum and Joel Steinberg were?? If not please google them.

Dustin's case reminds me very much of them, but his is actually much worse.

I'm just devastated for him. Again, I hope that beast goes to prison for a long time and I hope it brings Dustin some mental piece.

Knowing the justice system I don't hold out much hope. :O(

Thanks so much for the info. I'm disgusted that I haven't heard about the trial... I keep up with crime news all the time and yet I've nothing about this anywhere.

I'm now quite worried that Paxton may "walk free" as reported. What a mess that trial seems to be.

I'll be keeping up with this now... if that mental case doesn't get a large number of years in prison I'm going to be furious.

I still dont understand, was he mentally disabled before all of this happened? Like I dont understand why he didnt leave or fight back... even kids who get bullied walk away they dont stick around .... Sounds like there were some mental issues that he had before hand.. Not that it makes what happened ok I hope that crazy asshole who did this goes to jail forever, but even abued women eventually leave
