Where is Mark Stopholese Now?

The original guitarist of AFI, Mark Stopholese departed the band in 98', leaving them to recruit their current band member, Jade Puget. Since then, many old school AFI fans have been wondering what Mark has been doing since then.

I searched up Mark Stopholese on Google, and I eventually found out that he is currently cycling.... yeah it's VERY surprising that a former bandmate would do that kind of stuff, especially the fact that his cycling team is called "Gentle Lovers" (No, Mark isn't gay.) Also, some blogs about Mark say that he hates when people bring up AFI, and that he has never told ANYONE that he played guitar, or plays the guitar.

OooO well it looks like he has a nice life, I mean he isn't in AFI & I really don't know or care why he's not anymore...because I really love Jade. I wonder what kind of drama happened when he had to leave or (was his ass kicked out?)

That's pretty crazy that he is really bitter about his AFI days. It must have been a pretty bad ordeal... The current AFI guys and Geoff don't even talk about it either.
