You need to add the best part of the last lines, "We were supposed to fight for Willie." That's what makes this scene such a kick in the gut. They were supposed to defend the person they killed. Without that last line it's not such an impact.

all you military, remember this line as you are ordered to oppress these people who have lost everything to this evil empire, who cry out against slavery, who cry out for justice, who cry out to be heard. remember this as you are ordered to use deadly force, on fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, children, for the sake of law and order. We are not the enemy, we were once free by the constitution that you swore to uphold. Did they fight and die for nothing? was it in vain? their foolish dream?
