  • Where can I get that Manufacturing Cream? I don't think I've ever seen it at the store...

  • The Instructables link in the sidebar is the actual "How To". Click on it to read all the details.

  • cool! i just ordered my 1st kitchenaid artisan mixer off ebay. i'm getting it tomarrow and this is one of the first things i'm going to try and make. my husband will think it's neat and hopefully will realize i can do alot of things with this mixer and that i wasn't just wasting money lol. now i'll be really impressed if you could make a vegan butter - i'm lactose intolerant just a bit and cream really does a number on me.

  • You are going to have a lot of fun with it.

Now don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure all of the lactose stays with the buttermilk and all you have left in the butter is the fat. If I'm correct then complete rinsing is going to be important to you. Don't stop until the water is clear.

I'm just guessing though. Maybe a scientist will confirm it.

  • Very interesting! Just got a Kitchen Aid ice cream attachment and was looking for videos on using it and came upon your video. Looks easy. :-) Thanks!!!

  • I have the Ice Cream Freezer. It is great. I wrote an Instructable and even filmed it making ice cream but it needs to be edited as it takes 20 minutes. I need to find a free program that can fast forward part of the video. Any ideas?

  • Maybe if you could pour the ice water before placing the beater down it would be a whole lot easier!

  • @CantFndaName all flour and grain products will hurt your heath. Doesn't matter if they are organic or not.

  • We have a video showing how to make butter in less than a minute using Waring's food processor. So, imagine you are in a dark alley and someone says "I have some heavy cream, and if you don't make butter for me within the next minute, some bad thing will happen to you." What do you do? If you have this stand mixer, you will be out of luck. If you have a Waring food processor with patented LiquiLock and whipping disc, you will be just fine.

Check out our channel to see it in action.

  • How would you make honey butter or garlic butter? I can kinda figure out the honey butter, but how would you make the garlic butter without there being little chunks of garlic in there? Like for making garlic toast.

  • @DavidKilbourne Right away with the name calling. This guy opened himself up for comment by posting his video. You, on the other hand should go back and aplogize to your Father for having to raise you as your real father was some guy your mom met at the local porno shop.

  • @cabritorsss he likes the flavor of homemade cause homemade is usually better dumbass

  • I don't want to sound cynical but why do this? It kind of reminds me of a guy I knew. He would drive twenty miles out of his way to save a penney a gallon at the gas pump. How is that economical. Time in and of itself has a value also albeit different from person to person. I'll continue to buy butter at the market, save wear and tear on my Kitchen Aide, save a little on ekectricity and clean up time...

  • Your camera got buttered : )

  • Oh geez....now I gotta go buy a KitchenAid. Grrrrr. After watching two videos where KitchenAid mixers were used, looks like that is the way to go. Am getting goats next month and will try this with their milk!!! Nice to see a man in the kitchen (esp doing something way out of the box like making butter!!)..... :) Good job, man.

  • jizzed on your screen

  • I usually don't comment but I just wanted to take the time to thank you for posting this video. I was hoping there was a way to do this with my mixer. I'm really excited to go and make some now!

  • 1 hater= Some lazy fatass who doesn't like to experiment by making his/her/it's own butter for at least 1 time. XD
