  • Plecas is a liar and exhibits some characteristics of psychopathy. He is not a nice man. BAck in the old FCV days and UCFV days he did proposition some of his better looking female students in a sex-for-grades swap.

No one should listen to this morally corrupt piece of shit. Police mouth piece and disgusting human being.

  • Plecas has made a career out of telling authorities what they want to hear regarding media justifications for their present policies, careers and funding.,,...to continue with the status quo, IOW. And now Plecas has announced a 3 yr. study of the Kamloops RCMP......a branch that has recently made headlines for several very serious breaches of the public trust. His reason? "To determine what they're doing right so other agencies can copy it".

  • He would be correct if he had started his statement with: "I do not support this because it will only increase and further the problem of..."

  • I can't believe this guys a professor. Narcotics is this booming industry getting more violent, sophisticated and larger every year. And the only way to stop it is 1) crack the whip even HARDER than we are now, or 2) LEGALIZE the drugs, then you control them, you can tax them etc. Prohibition does not work, it's a failure. Wake up indeed.

  • the evidence is that your prohibitionist stance has created all these problems. all you will do will send the drug market to the more organised. then they will have more money for their guns etc. a never ending cycle.

now how much would it cost to prison these 16000 people that grow something less harmful than alcohol? because if you do that the demand will still dictate that the price would go up and so another 16000 will begin to grow. they will continue to evolve. please wake up soon.
